The SolarGuard 4G Pro never touches your home network. It runs on a 4G SIM, so it works at a shed, a front gate, a paddock or a building site, anywhere with mobile reception and nothing else.
It lights them up. AI and PIR sensors detect human motion, twin LED floodlights switch on, the event records and a warning alarm sounds, with the alert reaching your phone as it happens. 2K 3MP with 12X zoom catches faces and numberplates, and colour plus infrared night vision handles total darkness.
355 degree pan and 90 degree tilt, 20 metre detection and two-way audio. The 7.5W solar panel detaches and runs on a 5 metre cable, so the panel goes in the sun and the camera goes where you need it. IP66 rated.
Setting it up: charge it, insert a data-only SIM (Telstra or Optus, 5GB is plenty), open the UBOX app and scan the QR code. Test the SIM in your phone first to confirm it is active, which is the step most people skip. SIM not included.
Records to a micro SD card, 128GB recommended.
Is this the right fit for you?
A good fit if:
- There is no Wi-Fi where the camera needs to go
- You want a visible deterrent, with floodlights that trigger on motion
- You are covering a shed, gate, paddock, driveway or building site
Not the right fit if:
- You do not want to run a second mobile plan. Our Wi-Fi models have no ongoing cost.
- You are covering an indoor space. See the SpyLink Mini.
