Integrated VS Separated
Integrated: The solar panel and the light are connected and mount together to make it a single compact unit. This type also contains 74-LEDs (550 Lumens). The motion light setting is changed via the switch on the unit to select 1 of the 3 motion light settings. This type needs to be mounted in a sunny location for the solar panel to charge.
Separated: The solar panel and the light both mount separately. A 5m Solar Panel Cable connects the solar panel to the light unit. This allows you to place the light anywhere you like (even undercover in shady areas) and mount the solar panel in a sunny location within a 5 Metre distance! The Separated Type is also brighter with 148-LEDs (2500 Lumens). This model includes a compatible remote control that allows you control the 3 motion light settings rather than a switch on the unit.
FAQ
What Are The Lighting Settings?
The Integrated model is operated by using the button on the back of the light unit and via the remote for the separated model.
To switch between light modes:
Press once for bright light motion sensor mode. This mode will only activate the light when motion is detected. The light will stay on for 30 seconds.
Press the button a second time for a dim light motion sensor mode. The light will remain in a dim lighting until it detects movement. Once motion is detected, the light will shine at full brightness for 30 seconds.
Press the button a third time for constant light mode.
Pressing the button a fourth time will turn off the motion sensor.
*Please Note: The Solar Motion Sensor will activate when the solar panel detects darkness.
